The path to our collaboration with Cosmix unfolded in an unexpectedly delightful way. The spark was ignited when Vibha Harish, co-founder at Cosmix, put up a post on Instagram seeking a performance marketing agency. It wasn’t just one but two of my friends who separately directed me to her call-out, capturing my immediate attention. Seizing the moment, I dropped Vibha a direct message on Instagram and followed it up with an email. What ensued was a 1.5-hour phone conversation that laid the foundation for our journey together. Delving into Cosmix’s ethos during our talk, their commitment to wellness through superfoods and adaptogens struck a chord with me. Right from the get-go, it was clear this wasn’t just another project. It was an opportunity to amplify a story rich in purpose.

For those curious, superfoods are jam-packed with essential nutrients, offering a myriad of health benefits. Adaptogens, on the other hand, are nature’s stress relievers, helping the body adapt to and mitigate stress.

Our Digital Expedition: Achievements Unlocked

From November 2021 to April 2022, our mission was to catapult Cosmix's online presence to new heights. Our collaboration bore fruit, achieving a 5x Return On Ad Spend (ROAS) and dramatically reducing the Cost Per Acquisition (CPA) from 70% to 40% with paid ads. The journey didn't stop there; Cosmix extended our role to encompass the optimization of their Amazon marketplace, entrusting us with a broader scope of their digital landscape.

Collaborative Synergy: Unleashing the Power of UGC

A turning point in our journey was the deep dive into User-Generated Content (UGC) with Vibha. These sessions unveiled the untapped potential of leveraging real customer stories to foster brand authenticity and deepen community engagement. This strategic pivot was not merely about enhancing visibility; it was about nurturing a genuine connection with their audience with engaging ads.

Shark Tank Triumph: Cosmix's Strategic Victory

In an engaging episode of Shark Tank India Season 3, Cosmix's co-founders Vibha Harish and Soorya Jagadish presented their vision, rooted in providing holistic health solutions through plant-based supplements. They highlighted their significant impact, having aided over 100,000 customers. The pitch reached its peak when they valued Cosmix at a staggering Rs100 crore, asking for Rs 1 crore in exchange for 1% equity. The negotiation unfolded with poise and resulted in a successful deal with Shark Namita, who agreed to the Rs 1 crore for 1% equity, alongside a 1% royalty condition until the invested amount is recouped. This strategic deal underscored Cosmix’s impressive market valuation and showcased the founders' negotiation prowess.

As our direct collaboration concluded and Cosmix started to build in-house capabilities, we watched with pride as the brand stepped onto the Shark Tank stage, a testament to their dedication and the digital foundation we are delighted we could be a part of.
